For the past 16 years, the Magnum Foundation has organized the Inge Morath Award, named after the famous Austrian-American photographer. Inge Morath became a Magnum Photos member in 1953. The prize is due to celebrate her long-lasting and remarkable accomplishment in photography.
This prize awards long-term documentaries project conducted by women photographer under 30 years of age. The grant of 5,000 euros is awarded by a jury of Magnum photographers sided by the agency executive director.
Previously, the Inge Morath Award went to Daniella Zalcman (Signs of Identity, 2016), Danielle Villasana (A Light Inside, 2015) and Shannon Jansen (A Long Walk, 2014)…
