New York’s auctions: Swann Galleries


It is a New York tradition that Swann Galleries kicks off the photography auction season. Among the 167 lots You will find pieces ranging from early Japanese photographs to contemporary work by Tina Barney. Henry Cartier-Bresson’s portrait of Stieglitz along with two of the Dancers series by Irving Penn as well as works by Bernhard, Evans and Weston are always lovely finds.
