For this 9th edition, Les Photomobiles will take place from May 5 to September 5, 2026 at the Musée Quesnel-Morinière in Coutances.
Since its creation in 2017, Tulipe Mobile has led artist residencies, produced exhibitions, published books, and directed workshops and mediation activities for residents and schoolchildren, mainly in the Manche and Normandy regions. The projects carried out by Tulipe Mobile aim to pay particular attention to public presentations and mediation activities, especially with the residents involved in the photographic creation.
With Les Photomobiles, photographic events organized each year in the Coutances area, Tulipe Mobile reaffirms one of its founding choices: to share an artistic experience with an audience that is not necessarily initiated into or accustomed to this type of proposal.
Les Photomobiles allow residents to meet artists who have been in residence in the region, sometimes to open themselves to more distant horizons, and to maintain contact with our dear British neighbors.
The musée Quesnel-Morinière
Housed in a former private mansion, the musée Quesnel-Morinière owes its name to the man who donated the building and its adjoining garden to the city in 1850, on condition that they be transformed into places of public utility. Having become a botanical garden and museum, the property of Jean-Jacques Quesnel Morinière houses collections of folk art, fine art, and a graphic art collection centered around the artistic and literary movement Le Pou qui grimpe, active in the early 20th century.
Aux Quatres-Vents is supported by the Fondation Mécénat Caisse des Dépôts, the Manche Department, the Coutances Mer et Bocage community of communes, and the Musée Quesnel-Morinière de Coutances.
