2 collectors, Valérie de Marotte and Vicenç Boned, launched Galeria Tagomago in 2009 in Barcelona. The gallery is dedicated to contemporary photography including in its exhibition program confirmed artists as well as young authors. From the beginning, all kind of processes ( XIXth century wet collodion plates to iPhonegraphy, digital as well as analogical photography) and all kind of narrative ( documentary, fashion, personal, experimental photography) have been selected in order to enhance the power of this medium in our society. By its geographic position, Galeria Tagomago is naturally working with Spanish photographers but has also the aim to present authors from all around the world. This year, Galeria Tagomago has opened a showroom in Paris.
