The Arteko Galería was founded in 1996. After working hard to promote contemporary art, Arteko embarked on a new phase in 2006 by opening a 180m² space in Donostia-San Sebastián.
In this new space, the gallery presents artists working in painting, sculpture, photography, video, installations and other new technologies. Every year, the gallery presents numerous individual and group shows alongside its permanent collection, participates in several national and international fairs, and publishes its own catalogues.
