Having spent the last three weeks in Asia, and feeling a little asian myself I present this press review. Everywhere I look I see signs of the crisis—everywhere except in the papers. What do I see? Handshakes, pats on the back, knowing smiles, men in black stepping out of fancy black cars. But that’s not the crisis. The crisis is unemployment, soup kitchens, homelessness, and the gloom in the eyes of people I passed on the street… But it’s nowhere to be seen in the papers, because the “indignant ones” have fallen out of favor… So instead I present you with this pell mell selection. I almost forgot that Christmas is coming up, and December 25 is always so joyful. Christmas cheer is mandatory. Consume with moderation.
