In my photographs, I attempt to capture the something authentic in my subjects through a particular “event” that permeates their mental state for a given period of time. Leaving the movie theatre is one of these everyday “events.” It’s a transition between worlds, between fiction and reality, during which our state of mind may still be influenced. I attempt to capture the emotion felt after a striking film, one to which we cannot feel indifferent on our way back home.
