From the point A to the point B series
I shot a series of photographs about me leaving the South of France and going to stay at my mum’s home in Brittany till I get a job. It kind of all happened in one day. From point A to point B. From past to an unknown future.
The photographs were shot with an old Konica and Kodak Trix 400 films in December 2012 on the same day on the road from Montpellier, FR to Vitré, Brittany, FR. The photographs are to be read together in the order of the number in the title.
Bio
I’m Marie-Laure Louis. I was born in Mauritius and have been living in France for more than 9 years. When I was little Dad knew a place where I could have my film developed that wouldn’t cost much. Now I develop my films at home. I studied semiotics at University but had the luck to study photography in art school at the same time. Now photography is no more part of my life, it is my life.
