We continue and present the projects selected by Les Nuits Photographiques 2015 awards, which took place on September 19th. Today is about “Puissance Foudre“, directed by Olivier Lovey, young swiss photographer.
Jacques Emery is an electrician. Shut in his cellar in his spare time, he nurtures an almost mystical relationship with lightening. Many of his machines recreate this meteorological phenomenon in miniature, and at will. His piece de resistance is a Tesla bobbin, capable of producing a bolt of electricity of 1,400,000 volts.
« The universe is an enormous system of emitters and receivers, where everything is connected. » Jacques Emery
