Saudade it’s a Portuguese word to describe the felling of miss something or someone. The Saudade series results from the quest to find that felling of miss. The photos are a vision from the past, a personal vision and not a universal one.
Saudade is about memory, but isn’t an exercise of memory or remembering, it’s a process of filter emotions and the translation of these emotions in images. The series final result could only be sad, because is essence it’s in the past and the past never return. But it’s also joyful, because it‘s a celebration of the beauty contained in the simple things.
