Silent yet sometimes noisy, full or empty, open or closed, the fridge sits at the end of both the food chain and the cold chain, yet occupies a central place in our lives and our kitchens. At the height of domestic arts, its shelves are the stronghold of a domesticity built upon the living, a reflection of our appetite for comfort and our lifestyle, and the ultimate gateway to our homes.
With Charlotte Belval, architect, Belval Parquet; Catherine Clarisse, architect, lecturer and researcher, École nationale supérieure d’architecture Paris-Malaquais; and Myr Muratet, photographer.
Moderator: Annabelle Hagmann, founder of AHA, a production and communications agency that brings cities and society to life.
Three evening debates to explore the apartment in its most basic form, three domestic objects to examine the drivers of modern comfort, and three topics that speak volumes about how we treat our environment. With three speakers: an architect, an artist and a researcher.
