Until November 4, 2012, the Latin American Center of Photography will be accepting applications for the first Latin American Photography Award. Led by the journalist and Magnum member René Burri, the jury will award the prize winners with $5000 of photographic equipment. The winning photographers will also see their works exhibited at the Centro Cultural Borges in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and at other venues in Brazil, Spain, Peru, Mexico and Venezuela.
