Born from the union of photography and the emotion of sport, the Deauville Sport Images Festival, whose inaugural edition will take place from June 21 to September 21, 2025, will offer a unique perspective on the values of sport through the beauty of photography as a cultural, social, human, and artistic phenomenon.
Sports conveys powerful messages of perseverance, humanity, and hope, particularly during the Olympic and Paralympic Games, instilling them in society and among younger generations. Photography, through the quality of its image, reveals these values, tells these stories, and embodies the transformations they inspire. The festival will be structured around 12 exhibitions, freely accessible throughout the city during the three summer months, and a grand opening evening, “La Nuit du Sport,” on June 21 at the Deauville International Center, with monographic and group screenings and awards ceremonies, attended by leading figures from the worlds of sport and photography.
Several other events: auctions, conferences, visits, etc. will punctuate this festival.
