Jean-Paul Sibbille, A high altitude concert

Preview
During the 2015 summer, the Messiaen-La Meije festival invited the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg (OPS) to célébrate the 50th of the création of ‘’Et Expecto Resurrectionnem Mortuorum’’ from O. Messiaen, a french composer (1908-92). This was under the majestuous alpine summit of La Meije (3983 m). This portfolio is a photo-GRAPHIC essay (between photo, wartercolor & cartoons) about that exceptionnel event : musiciens & personnals moving & settling
up at the podium, then a big rain on all like a desaster… and the smoggy light appearing any hours before a clear night ! Wow… the sky didn’t appreciate such a concert too near from him !
In these topic pictures I wanted to translate the Beauty of Nature (montain, light, clouds) & those from human creation (music, technology, poetry) and also all transformations which occured here – light, transparency of the atmosphere, humaan activities, and so on…
My artistic design is to work like a photo-pictorialist, or even like a visual composer-author-interpretor ! So, I’m not a musisian but a music lover. For that I use 4 softwares in post production to perform my Nikon pictures (using an altering set from it among others), which ask me many time & sweat, even with my own presets.
