Lara Gasparotto (born in Liège, Belgium) has been developing a deeply personal and poetic photographic oeuvre for over ten years, oscillating between reality and fiction.
Her intimate and contemplative work captures fleeting moments of daily life, natural landscapes, and portraits imbued with gentleness and melancholy. She favors analog photography, which she considers a ritual, and sometimes incorporates pictorial elements such as gouache or pastel to enrich her images, creating a unique atmosphere where light, texture, and emotion converge.
