In the early 60’s when I was designer / art director of Nova magazine I asked Jeanloup to make some fashion pictures for me and had the pleasure for the first time work with him and layout his pictures.
We became great friends.
It was an honour to be asked by Barbara and Sonia to design the book «Sieff Fashion». Handling all the famous prints that I had seen in magazines and exhibitions over the years, was awe inspiring. Selecting the type, discussing the sequence of pictures with Barbara and Sonia, then sizing and positioning them was a pleasure. In fact Jeanloup’s photographs have their own style and the layout progressed on its own.
