MAC VAL presents Ici grand ouvert, a monographic exhibition by SMITH, realized in collaboration with and with the support of the Galerie Christophe Gaillard.
A research-based artist represented by the gallery since 2022, SMITH develops a multidisciplinary practice guided by a poetics of metamorphosis. Moving between fluctuating states of consciousness, trance and psychedelic experience, he weaves a network of correspondences between bodily and cognitive practices and experimental scientific and technological devices, in search of a point of contact where spirituality, sensitivity and technology can finally reconvene.
