Gaëlle Cueff, The second life of glossy paper

Preview
What happens to the images of magazines once read the words they illustrate? They usually end up in the fire, in the garbage, soiled by peelings or asphyxiated under a layer of dust. Armed with my scissors and my glue, I offer them a second life: I take from these magazines and newspapers fragments of images, shapes, colors, which sometimes wait for long months waiting to meet other images, other shapes and other colors that call or respond to them. Disconnected from their initial message and rich with a whole new palette of meaning, they then assemble to tell another story.
