Series Leakage by Anna Orlowska

Psychologists proofed that sometimes human memories can be fake, what if people’s dreams and desires can be fake too? Not impulsive not wanted but programmed by parents and culture. How can we know what we really want and who we actually desire to be? How to distinguish our real needs and dreams from the fake ones?

How can one be oneself if all around us everything seems to be an illusion or just a phantom. How can you be yourself if we might be stuck in some fake “us” or fake reality?

My reflection of this is that people feel a great dissatisfaction which they can’t even trace back to them selfs. In my pictures I am trying to capture tension and inquietude of the man who has been hunted by his own illusions.
