Workshop on Developing, Financing and Distribution of a Photographic Project.

In partnership with La SAIF, Magnum Photos invites you to attend a weekend workshop on developing, financing and distributing a photographic project, with Magnum photographer Jérôme Sessini and professionals from the world of photography.

Aimed at emerging photographers who wish to understand the mechanisms of professionalization to start or consolidate a career as a professional photographer, this weekend is an opportunity to exchange around a common passion, to discuss the practical aspects of the photographer’s work and to obtain constructive criticism on the work of each participant.

Jérôme Sessini, photographer and member of the Magnum agency, Marie Guillemin and Clara Chalou, artistic directors of the Fetart collective, Elise Solard, legal director of La SAIF, Margaux Beaughon, director of Dunes editions and Lidwine Kervella, photo and drawing editor for Courrier International magazine, will accompany participants throughout the weekend.

This workshop will give an important place to informal exchanges between the participating photographers and the speakers so that everyone can ask questions and discuss practical issues with professionals in the field.

For its 75th anniversary, Magnum Photos Paris is organizing a year-long cultural program dedicated to photography and reportage. Conscious of its importance in this sector, it wishes to participate in the emergence of new talents and diversity in the editorial offices.
