Tania and Vincent are a photography couple. They met at the Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne in Switzerland, where they were trained in photography and graphic design. They have lived and worked together in Paris for the past five years. They work predominantly in still life. The composition of the image is no longer simply a photograph of nature frozen in time. It becomes a surrealist mis-en-scène made of collages with objects of different scales. The result is a graphic and disorienting trompe-l’oeil with the multiple dimensions of the image at play.
