La Gallery Photo12 exposes The Secret, the new series by the artistic couple Clark and Pougnaud. The images of this series are thought out like theater stages on which the curtain was just lifted. These surreal and mysterious places are more evocation than representation; the female characters, pensive, with immobile faces, evolve in their inner world.
Through this new series, the artists invite the viewer to imagine and project into the invisible: on the back of each photograph is hidden another, intimate, carrying a secret. A “secret” held between the artists, the models, and that will reveal itself only to the eyes of the collector.
La Maison de la Photographie in Lille also exposes the artist duo from October 29 to November 29, 2015.
