After the success of his Icelandic album Snjór, released in 2016, and hailed by a unanimous critic, Christophe Jacrot continues his wanderings in the heart of winter with a new white book, soberly titled Neiges(Snow). A lonely traveler, the photographer takes us on a spectral road trip, in the city and in the countryside, across Europe, America and Asia.
This large format book with a remarkable quality of print, with an elegant and airy layout, makes Christophe Jacrot’s images interact with each other to immerse us in the clean atmosphere of each place where his footsteps made crispy sound.
The book’s release is accompanied by an exhibition at the Galerie de l’Europe. Some fifteen photographs in the book will be presented in large format (60 x 90 cm and 70 x 120 cm). Inkjet / fine art print.
