Christian Caujolle was a critic and picture editor at the French newspaper Libération until 1986 when he created the photography agency Agence VU'. In 1988 he created the VU' Gallery and is currently a teacher at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Louis Lumière, an independent curator, a writer for the Italian weekly Internazionale and frequent contributor for book prefaces, catalogs and exhibitions. He is the Artistic Director of the Photo Phnom Penh Festival he created in Cambodia in 2008.
