My first inspiration comes from Schlosser paintings, in particularly the way he chooses the frame of the picture.
The main idea was to concentrate the frame of the picture on the woman, and let people imagine her attitude, her hair color, is she’s alone or no? Where are we?
Had fun taking these pictures during a sunny weekend at the Parc de St cloud.
I like the square frame in photography, I had this iaea when I started to shoot the first pictures with the polaroid DOS from he Mamiya RZ67. It’s a way to move away from the 16/9 or 2.35 film movie format.
Some pictures were taken in film with the RZ67, others in digital with a 5DMKII.
