Santiago Villanueva, young 25 year old artist from the province of Buenos Aires (born in Azul), presents a series of photographs where he addresses the theme of identity and of the nation in the history of art in Latin America.
The starting point of the artist – represented by the Isla Flotante Gallery – is the publication of a book in 1958 by the art critic Romualdo Brughetti, “plastic geography”, a compilation of various articles on the theme of landscape painting in Latin America.
