The Rolf Art Gallery, in the context of this years’ Buenos Aires Photo, introduced an ensemble of three photographers all working on the human body and linked by a formal, conceptual, geographical and historical relationship.
These are three photographers consecrated in the art and photography scenes.
Marcos López, Argentine, presents his ‘black and white’ portraits accomplished in the ‘ 90s, thanks to which he won the Andy Goldstein foundation prize. His compatriot, Humberto Rivas, shows his work “portraits”. On the other side of the Cordillera, the Chilean Nicolas Franco comes to present us his “treated like flowers” series that treats facial mutilation endured by soldiers during the wars.
