The five nominators of the 2014 Discovery Award are photography experts from five continents who program festivals and/or work for institutions. The Discovery Award is given to a photographer or an artist using photography whose work has recently been discovered or deserves to be so. Every year since 2002, nominators invited by the Rencontres d’Arles each select two photographers in the running for this award, to present their work with personal exhibitions at the Parc des Ateliers.
