My first inspiration is humanist photography. I began in 1997 in the studios of the Centre de l’Image in Mexico and showed my first films in their makeshift labs, composing photographic scenes on the trails of Indian villages and in the streets of Mexico City. I further developed my vision during my travels to Africa and in Western European cities. Since 2007, my digital video and photography work has focused on the Middle East and other Mediterranean countries.
