A new festival in Genève : Arcoop Wall Project

Preview

In the setting of an ARCOOP industrial building built by Honegger Frères in the 1960s, which is part of the Geneva heritage inventory and housing 70 craftsmen, Irene Attinger and Jorg Brockmann organized the first edition of a new ARCOOP WALL PROJECT festival. They wish it will become biennial.

For this first edition, they have chosen the universal theme of love that runs through the history of photography and more broadly art. Through the work of 26 photographers from different parts of the world, they have selected series ranging from the 50s to the present day.

We find in particular:
Judith Affolter
Denis Dailleux
Claudine Doury
Matthew Finn
René Groebli
Annie Hsiao-Ching Wang
Josh Kern
Stefanie Moshammer
Max Pinckers
Bernard Plossu
Jean Revillard

The entrance of the festival is free and open every day from 8am to 7pm.
The festival lasts until October 13th.
On the weekend of October 5th and 6th will take place portfolios reviews from 2pm to 5pm (registration on the website https://arcoopwallproject.ch)
On October 10, a conference, the brain in love, is organized by the Center interfacultaire in affective sciences of the University of Geneva from 18:30 to 20.
