Vannes 2012 : Phillip and Guillaume Plisson

T.K. Bremen

“This year, the General Counsel of Morbihan, in partnership with the City of Vannes, presents an exhibition about The T.K. Bremen by Phillip and Guillaume Plisson. This photographic tale with a happy ending, tells the story of exemplary crisis management: from the rescue of the mariners to the revitalization of the shore and the deconstruction of the ship. This is a fantastic human story told by two incredible photographers from Morbihan. It teaches us the lesson: nothing is impossible when we work together towards accomplishing a common goal.”
Francois Goulart, The President of General Counsel of Morbihan.

T.K. Bremen
Our work is not solely about the sea, nor do we intentionally try to think of the world in an ecological way. We travel across the sea, carried by it’s waves and tides to show what it is and not what we dream it to be. In the early morning of December 16th 2011, we were on Kerminihy Beach: Guillaume in the sand with his backpack and me in a helicopter coming from Quimper. We approached this subject with sensitivity and people could follow the deconstruction through our blog. To our great surprise, 350,000 people visited our blog in one day. Once again, France confirmed that our biggest common denominator is the sea.”
