Moment de Grâce is a photographic and video project that pays tribute to the freedom of the body. It celebrates the gesture of the dancer, both artist and athlete. The dance here does not belong to any genre, but to a character, a personality.
Photographer, especially in the fashion world, today I want to give freedom to clothing as much as to the model. Clothing does not take precedence over the body; it serves him, dances with him.
If the photograph captures the gesture, then the video shows the detail. The two disciplines intertwine to seek different aesthetics and narrations of the same choreographic gesture, that of a movement, of a garment. Capturing the moment with the photo and deploying it with the video, therein lies the idea of Moment of Grace.
In the studio or in the city, graphics are in the spotlight. When the decor is refined, it is to let the graphic body speak: details of the skin, muscle, posture. When space is built, the choreography does not belong to an urban culture, nor to its genre. Only the graphic details of the city, which are dear to me, will serve as a natural setting for the dance.
