Le Château d’Eau de Toulouse is presenting until March 17th three series of photographs by the celebrated Swedish photographer Lars Tunbjörk, a member of the Agence Vu’. I love Böras is composed of images selected from a larger work mainly produced in the artist’s hometown, Böras, a medium-sized city surviving in a forest in southeastern Sweden. While retaining some empathy for his fellow citizens, Tunbjörk’s photographs, with their wobbly, loaded frames and bright colors, depict a disenchanted world where the ridiculous rivals runaway consumerism.
