Taka Ishii Gallery Photography / Film opened in 2011 as a space which introduces not only contemporary photography, but also photographs from the Pre and Post-World War periods in Japan. In presenting exhibitions of work by photographers from various different eras, the space aims to provide a new perspective on the history of photography.
