The Eye of Photography presents on a monthly basis features from The Agents Club such as their Insta News, Master Series or Profiles.
David Paige is a Slovenian-born photographer and filmmaker based in Paris. His work moves across fashion, still life, portraiture and fine art, without fixed boundaries.
He first explored drawing and installation before picking up a camera as a teenager, influenced by a creative family environment. That early focus on form and space still shapes his approach today.
His images place people and objects in subtly unexpected situations, balancing intention and chance with understated, offbeat precision. Nothing feels forced, yet something is always gently shifted.
There is a clear balance in his work between control and instinct. He works with patience, but keeps a sense of curiosity that allows moments to unfold.
Even in still compositions, there is a sense of movement. His images hold tension—structured, but never static.
David contributes to titles including Modern Weekly, Numéro, L’Uomo and Vogue, and collaborates with brands such as Saint Laurent, Prada and Dries Van Noten.
For the artist, documenting is never neutral. “No two moments are the same when carefully observed.” Whether personal or commissioned, his work is about capturing that shift—again and again.
