Here, and around the world, all women and girls are worthy of respect. It is for all of you that I had the audacity, perhaps even the courage, to carry my project so far, all the ways to these railings. Let us unite, act together. When you are a humanist, you are a feminist, and vice versa. Let us dare dream of a human right which would fully associate freedom, equality, respect, dignity, but also humanity. It is through this exhibition that I wanted to bring a message of hope and support to all the women who are still under control. For them, the most important thing is to realize that there is always a way out, that all of them can and must come out of silence, that they have the right to be heard, believed, protected. The right to simply exist. The right to dare to go from fear to respect, from shadow to light.
This daylight, vital in our existence, is the light that I have chosen to illuminate these 28 women – 28 as a woman cycle, as a hope, a rebirth. Strong together, but also beautiful in their differences, my eye tried to capture the emotion of each of them. The main thing, right now.
To be freer and equal tomorrow.
I dedicate this exhibition to all the women and the men who respect women.
