Studio Harcourt presents the exhibition Vertige, with photographs by Cécile Plaisance, Stéfanie Renoma, Philippe Guédon; the painter Elka Leonard is also featured.

There is a silent moment when something is decided.
Nothing is moving yet — and yet everything has already changed.
A gaze settles.
A body stops hesitating.
A presence appears, freer, perhaps more dangerous, because it no longer asks permission to exist.
Through photography and painting, Vertige explores that fragile moment when desire becomes direction.
In these images, we witness that rare moment: the one in which a woman understands that she no longer has to wait.
And that what comes next belongs to her.

Born in Paris in 1968, Cécile Plaisance first pursued a career in finance before devoting herself fully to photography and art. Cécile’s work is recognized for its bold and thought-provoking exploration of social norms and the multiple roles women occupy in contemporary culture. Her artistic signature is rooted in lenticular photography, a technique that animates her works and reveals their layered narratives. By blending classical portraiture with current themes, Cécile invites the viewer to approach her creations from different angles, both literally and figuratively. Her subjects — most often women — are depicted with strength and vulnerability, challenging traditional representations of beauty and gender.

Born in 1975, Stéphanie Renoma has, since 2014, developed a photographic practice centered on intimacy, the body, and the sensitive zones of identity.
Coming from art direction, she approaches the image as a space for inner projection rather than as an aesthetic support.
Her photographs, in both black and white and color, explore gender, femininity, and androgyny, in a constant tension between strength and vulnerability.
She collaborates with major houses while developing a personal visual language nourished by portraiture and staging.

Born in Angers in 1986, Philippe Guédon trained in journalism before turning toward image-making. A photographer, director, publisher, and art director, he explores different media while maintaining a strong coherence: a pronounced taste for aesthetics, staging, and the presence of the body.
In Paris, he co-founded the publishing house Incarnatio and launched Normal Magazine, a singular project blending photography, eroticism, and visual culture. More than a simple magazine, it was a reflection on the gaze, desire, and the representation of the free body.
