The Musée Galliera and the Cité Nationale de l’Histoire de l’Immigration have joined forces for the exhibition Fashion Mix, a wonderful tribute to the legendary fashion designers who left their native countries and adopted Paris as their home and testing ground, from Vivienne Westwood, Karl Lagerfeld and Martin Margiela to Kenzo, Azzedine Alaïa and Elsa Schiaparelli. The cradle of haute couture, Paris is undeniably the capital of fashion with its Fashion Weeks, runways, stores and boutiques along the Champs-Elysées. To coincide with the exhibition, Flammarion has released a wonderful catalogue sharing the story of fashion in Paris and worldwide.
