Roland Michaud (1930-2020)

Preview

It was the time when Afghanistan was still a kingdom, it was the time when the films shot in Afghanistan had the names: The Man Who Wanted to Be King by John Houston and The Horsemen by John Frankenheimer, it was the time when a couple of photographers Sabrina and Roland Michaud made us dream with mind-blowing photos of the roofs of the world. It was the time when this country represented perfection on earth.

And then … and yesterday Roland Michaud died.

Tomorrow, it’s Kathleen Grosset, the daughter of Raymond Grosset of the legendary Rapho agency, who hosted the Michauds who will talk to us about them.
