French-photographer Gil Rigoulet is publishing his last book entitled Mes jours (My Days) (The (M) éditions). The Parisian-based bookshop Librairie Photographique offers a meeting with its author tomorrow Wednesday, May 3rd. This surprising book-object offers a superb format made of 29 polaroids on Japanese paper. 100 original copies will be available to sale.
Mes jours (My Days) by Gil Rigoulet proposes an “aesthetic of the daily“, a meeting of polaroids found in a box after fifteen years spent in oblivion. The photographer deals with everyday objects, his own body, moments of life with a great subtility, gently fixing these objects disappearing in time.
