Preview
Every week, L’Oeil de la Photographie presents the radio program Regardez voir, produced by Brigitte Patient on France Inter. Meeting with Vincent Munier.
Born in 1976, Vincent Munier grew up in the Vosges surrounded by nature. His father was a staunch conservationist, which had a major influence on Munier. He worked as a horticulturalist for 20 years to finance the purchase of his first telephoto lens, then as a reporter for L’Est Républicain, before deciding in 2002 to devote himself exclusively to wildlife as a professional photographer . After working for a few years in Scandinavia, the Japanese island of Hokkaido and the Antarctic Islands, Vincent had become one of the world’s most accomplished figure in his profession. Each of his photographs is tinged with an enchanting feeling of fantasy.
