Description:
In this episode, we travel to Phnom Penh in 1996, where mountains of Western waste are giving rise to veritable villages in the rubbish dumps. Through the eyes of ‘Prince’, a young boy born into this world, we discover the reality of these children who live off rubbish from elsewhere. With Delphine Darmon – podcaster and writer of Demain n’attend pas, entrepreneur and expert in ESG transformation – we explore the underside of this ignored global trade: why does our rubbish end up so far away? And at what price?
