"DR - Um Diário da República" (literally, “A Journal of the Republic”) is a project of the collective [kameraphoto] that began in 2010, the hundredth anniversary of the Portuguese Republic. It aims to create a collective memory for the period from 2010 to 2020. On even-numbered years, photographers from [kameraphoto] will be responsible for extensively documenting events in Portugal. On odd-numbered years, the photographs will be exhibited and published. In 2013, [kameraphoto] entrusted the 2012 photographs to eight of its members and a few guests. The photographer Pedro Letria chose to work with the GHOST publishing house. The result of this collaboration is the book Please Hold.
