The 16th edition of the Photo Phnom Penh festival will take place from November 19th to December 19th, 2025, in the heart of the Cambodian capital.
Founded in 2008 by the French Cultural Center, now the French Institute of Cambodia, the Photo Phnom Penh festival continues its journey in 2025, establishing itself as a platform for dialogue between Europe and Asia. Designed for both emerging and established artists, as well as the general public, it also fosters interaction between different genres of photography.
The 2025 edition brings together historical works and contemporary creations, a long-term perspective that allows us to consider photography in its relationship to the past, present, and future. Between memory and creation, document and fiction, transmission and reinvention, the program addresses essential questions: How do images influence the way we see and remember? How do they allow us to tell the story of the world and act upon it?
