Salvatore Vitale presents Sabotage at Photo Elysée, a reflection on how the gig economy is transforming work and highlighting the contradictions of digital capitalism.
Through photography, installation, and video, he depicts the daily lives of people whose existence is increasingly dictated by data and algorithms, and imagines forms of resistance.
In collaboration with freelancers from South Africa, he illuminates both the vulnerability and resilience of the digital workforce, reminding us that human labor, even when invisible, remains at the heart of dematerialized economies.
Salvatore Vitale (1986) is an Italian-born artist who has lived in Switzerland for twenty years.
