The French Academy in Rome in collaboration with the Vancouver Art Gallery presents the first significant exhibition in Italy of the french photographer Patrick Faigenbaum. Imagined by the art critic Jean-François Chevrier and the artist Jeff Wall, it is part of the XIIth edition of FOTOGRAFIA – Festival Internazionale di Roma and traces forty years of the photographer’s work. This picture belongs to one of the first series which is about Italian aristocratic families, made while he was resident at the Villa Medicis.
