The diverse allure of women has been eloquently captured for us in this month’s Fashion Press Review, whether she’s seated across from you at the local diner or windblown in a field surrounded by cows.
We start with an image by Theo Wenner, in what one might imagine as a horizontal “Rockette” jive for Self Service’s recent Fall/Winter issue. An interesting play between movement and space.
In Greece, Marie Claire brings us a classic, beautifully portrayed intimate occasion, followed by a stint with the above-mentioned cows, lensed by photographer Costas Avgoulis.
Set in a diner, Andreas Larsson shoots a seemingly stunned (or simply confused?) model in this image for the latest issue of Ponystep magazine.
Out on the street, we get a great dose of contrast, not only in the tones but also in the styling, with these black and white images by Txema Yeste for Tush’s issue 26, while photographer Grant Thomas shines a light on a model expectantly lounging on a bed in some lighter attire, in his story for Flaunt’s latest issue.
The talented Norvegian Sølve Sundsbø captures a more reflective image for Interview’s December-January issue of actress Scarlett Johansson, where we see a more timid gesture in contrast with her dress.
And finally we slide into Hedi Slimane‘s “sexy chair”, with this portrait of model Arizona Muse for Russian Vogue’s December issue. Not to be outdone, of course, by Steven Meisel in this shot for Italian Vogue’s December issue of a sombrero-clad (and not much else) Karlie Kloss.
Some moments to keep us inspired during the chilly days of Fall.
