On the occasion of Paris Photo, we asked the exhibiting galleries for their suggestions for three images with three different prices: less than €1,000, €1,000 to €2,000, and more than €5,000. Here are the results, and thanks again to them!
Einspach & Czapolai Fine Art (Hungary) does not offer any photographs priced below 5000 euros: Sitting Bear (near Zărnești) by Tamas Dezsö (1978) is priced at 5000 euros.
Galerie écho 119 (France): Chieko Shiraishi, untitled, albumen print. Unique and signed on the back by the artist, 14×9 cm – €400, unframed; Maude Arsenault, Undercovers, photographic giclée print on Fuji fine art photo rag 300 gsm, 18x24cm – €1000 unframed; and Rinko Kawauchi, Untitled from the series “Illuminance”. Editioned, signed on the back by the artist, 101×101 cm – €7100 unframed.
La galerie England & Co (United Kingdom) is offering these three images from their collection: Monuments 2018 by Vlatka Horvat £16,000 (approximately €18,000); David Hockney 1972 by Johnny Dewe-Mathews at £1,200 (approximately €1,350) and Sugar 2010 by Victoria Halford at £750 (approximately €850).
Tanit (Lebanon) does not offer any photographs priced below 2000 euros: Giulio Rimondi, Artica 3, 2019, €2,750 and Sonja Braas, The Other Day MVI, 2025, €18,000.
