Paris Photo 2025 / Biennale de l’Image Tangible

As part of Paris Photo, the Biennale de l’Image Tangible(Tangible Picture) presents a selection of works whose aim is to break away from a classic use of the photographic medium.

The fourth edition of the Biennale de l’Image Tangible will take place in November, a key month in Paris. Two geographical areas have been chosen: Central Paris and Eastern Paris.

Its program revolves around an exhibition at the Espace Niemeyer and five exhibitions bringing together the artists selected from the call for projects, chosen by a jury of professionals from the world of art, image, and photography, and invited artists. The events will take place from November 1 to 30, 2025.

Their works will be presented in the following venues and galleries: Espace Niemeyer, Galerie Plateforme, Galerie Fisheye, Julio Artist Run Space, le 100 ECS, Atelier Néerlandais.

– An audiovisual concert evening on November 6 at the Espace Niemeyer with Hugo Arcier, Annabelle Playe, Marc Siffert / inLAND, and Antoine Schmitt and Franck Vigroux / Vidéopolis.
– Two weekend tours offering an artistic stroll through the districts of Greater Eastern Paris and the city center. Over two weekends, artists, gallery owners, curators, and event organizers welcome you to 6 exhibitions to discuss the works on display.
– An Atelier Martel Prize, in partnership with the Biennial, Atelier Martel awards a two-part prize: a three-month solo exhibition in its premises, and the winner’s inclusion in the project management team for the construction of a building. Depending on the opportunities, he or she may have access to a residency in a building managed by Atelier Martel, which oversees the construction work.
– Portfolio reviews in collaboration with the LUX network.
