Antoine Laurentin is a gallerist based in Paris and Brussels. Both of his galleries specialize in 19th and 20th-century painting, drawing and sculpture. He kept this diary for us during his visit to Paris Photo 2014.
“Paris Photo offers an exceptional overview of contemporary and classic art. I only dwelt on works that affected me and which I wanted for my own collection. Such love at first sight defies logic. Most of them portray nature and object. The human figure is absent or partially hidden. I really like the Christian Patterson installation.”
